Detailed responsibilities:
Selected Senior Registrars will perform clinical duties in their respective specialties, manage patient diagnosis and treatment plans, participate in teaching activities for postgraduate trainees, assist in academic and research projects, and maintain professional healthcare standards. The role also involves coordinating with consultants, preparing medical records, supporting departmental development, and contributing to specialized healthcare services provided by the institute. Successful professionals will be expected to demonstrate strong clinical judgment, research involvement, and commitment to quality patient care.
Eligibility & Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by PM&DC.
- For non-medical graduates in basic sciences, M.Sc in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as FCPS, MD, M.S, MPhil, PhD, D.Sc or equivalent recognized by PM&DC.
- Maximum age limit: 35 years.
- Minimum five years of teaching or practical experience in the relevant specialty before or after obtaining postgraduate qualification.
- Research publications in standard medical journals will be considered for merit.
- Government employees must apply through the proper channel.
- Age relaxation will be granted according to Federal Government rules.
